Everything You Need to Know
Comprehensive answers to common questions about our talent representation service, for both representatives and developers.
General Questions
Understanding our service and how it works.
Talent representation is a professional service where skilled communicators represent senior software engineers during the interview process. Representatives handle recruiter calls, interviews, and ideally technical assessments as well. We can provide limited backup support for coding interviews when needed. This allows senior developers to explore opportunities without disrupting their current roles.
Our service operates within a carefully designed ethical framework. We work with verified profiles and maintain transparency in our operations. All representatives and developers participate voluntarily, and we ensure full compliance with relevant regulations. Our legal team continuously reviews our processes to ensure we maintain the highest standards.
Traditional recruiters connect candidates with companies but don't handle the interview process. Nexus Bridge goes further by providing complete interview representation. This unique approach benefits senior developers who want to explore opportunities discreetly, and creates earning potential for professional communicators.
We target top-tier technology companies including FAANG companies, well-funded startups (Series B and beyond), and established tech enterprises. Our focus is on positions paying $150K+ in base salary with total compensation packages often exceeding $200K-$400K.
For Representatives
Questions about becoming and working as a representative.
Strong coding skills are highly preferred. Candidates who can handle technical interviews independently have a significant advantage and higher success rates. We can provide limited backup support when needed, but our tech team has limited bandwidth. Excellent communication skills and professionalism are still essential.
Representatives earn 50% recurring commissions on placed developer salaries. With positions typically paying $10K-$20K+ per month, a single successful placement can generate $5K-$10K+ in monthly recurring income. Many of our successful representatives earn $15K-$30K+ monthly through multiple placements.
The process includes: 1) Initial application submission, 2) Communication skills assessment, 3) Interview with our team, 4) Comprehensive training program, 5) Profile assignment and active representation. The entire onboarding process typically takes 1-2 weeks.
You receive detailed profile documentation, background story preparation, practice sessions for common questions, and ongoing coaching. For technical interviews, we can provide limited backup support when needed—but candidates who can handle tech interviews independently have the best results. Our tech team has limited bandwidth, so self-sufficiency is a major plus.
Yes! When you secure multiple offers as a representative, you have the option to accept one of those positions yourself. Many representatives transition into full-time engineering management or technical roles after building a track record.
Flexibility is built into our model. However, since most target companies are US-based, availability during US business hours (typically 9am-6pm Pacific) for calls is important. You set your own schedule within these parameters.
For Developers
Questions about getting represented through our service.
We conduct thorough verification including: employment history verification, LinkedIn and professional network review, reference checks with former colleagues, technical skill assessment, and background documentation compilation. This ensures our representatives can accurately present your profile.
Absolutely not. Discretion is fundamental to our service. All interview activities are conducted confidentially. We never contact your current employer, and our representatives are trained to protect your privacy throughout the process.
We focus on senior engineering roles including: Senior Software Engineer, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Engineering Manager, and technical leadership positions. Target compensation typically ranges from $150K-$250K+ base salary with substantial equity packages.
There's no upfront cost to developers. Our model is success-based—we earn when you earn. You commit to working with our representation model and being available for profile documentation and occasional briefings. If offers are secured, you simply continue in your new role.
From profile completion to first offers, the typical timeline is 3-6 weeks. This can vary based on market conditions and role specificity. Our representatives actively pursue multiple opportunities simultaneously to maximize your chances.
